Testimonials for BELLA

As dance teachers, we work hard to deliver exceptional customer service and take pride in going above and beyond our client’s expectations! We love creating a fun learning environment that makes our students (especially our beginners!) feel comfortable. As a result, we receive feedback over and over again that expresses how much FUN our clients have reaching their dancing goals!

I took lessons with my dad and my fiancé here before our wedding and it was one of the best things we decided to do for the wedding! We had such a great time and Tayler is an excellent teacher. None of us are dancers, but she is a patient and encouraging teacher and made us feel confident and comfortable getting out on the dance floor. She choreographed really special dances that perfectly fit our music and the tone we were going for. My husband and I even learned a couple lifts! I highly recommend taking lessons at Bella Ballroom and especially lessons with Tayler!

Joel and the entire staff at Bella Ballroom are the best in all categories; Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. My wife and I both had no prior dance experience and felt awkward and out of place on the dance floor. We were basically left to one dance move – the “prom sway”. With our daughter’s wedding approaching we knew we needed help. Joel took us under his wing and was able to make us comfortable and confident together. It was challenging for us to take off the time to go to our scheduled dance classes, but with each dance class we attended, we left with a big smile, feeling very satisfied with what we had just learned. MANY THANKS to Joel and the rest of the friendly staff at Bella Ballroom. You brought joy to learning while giving us the confidence and guidance we needed to dance the night away!

We love Bella Ballroom!  Everyone there is awesome, but this review is particularly for Tayler, our instructor.  My husband and I went in for lessons to prepare for our first dance.  We thought we would just get a couple of lessons so we looked like we knew what we were doing, but we ended up learning an entire choreographed dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.”  We had SO much fun in the process!   My husband and I are by no means dancers, so Tayler was very patient with us while we learned the moves.  And her positive attitude is infectious– we laughed a ton during our lessons, which is always good to do when you’re awkwardly throwing your arms about.  Despite our dancing limitations, by the end of our 15 class package, we were experts at our dance!  We also gained a friend in the process.  When we got back from our honeymoon, my husband turned to me and said “I miss our dance lessons!” and I said, “I miss Tayler!”  Our dance lessons were one of our favorite things about our wedding preparation, and definitely the most rewarding.  Oh, and needless to say, everyone was blown away when we pulled out our choreographed first dance 🙂

Me and my husband went to coffee shop beside the Bella Ballroom Studio, because we were brainstorming about our wedding that happened last August. We saw this place, and thought since we still do not have anything for our wedding first dance, might as well check the place out. So my now husband made an appointment to check. Actually, our first dance was on the bottom of our to do list, because we were really intimidated as me and my husband don’t really dance and never ever in our relationship danced together, so literally this is our first dance!:) So the appointment night came, we met Ziva. Never felt intimidated with her. She is the best ever. And me and my husband love her. She is very fun to work with. We had 5 sessions with her — from nothing, we were able to do our dance perfectly and gracefully. All our guests was so happy about it, and left them all surprised that my husband’s family and friends were saying that they didn’t know that my husband can dance. Some of our guests even said how are we able to do the dance since we were so busy with the whole wedding preparation, and it became possible because of Ziva, and we miss her.:)

I got engaged in December of 2014 & we got married in October this year. As the Wedding date got closer I remember being impressed by my neighbor’s first dance at her Wedding in September 2014. I asked her where they took their lessons and she told me at Bella Ballroom in Costa Mesa. I checked them out on Yelp and here I am giving them 5 Stars like everybody else!

This studio definitely earned this rating. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We started our lessons one month before the Wedding and our instructor Anna was amazing!

At our first introductory lesson with Anna she asked us what was important to us & what we were looking to accomplish with our first dance. With weekly lessons leading up to our Wedding & a final site visit at our Venue to practice our first dance, our lessons paid off :)
(We paid an additional fee for the venue visit, but it was worth it to us)

The only thing I would have changed would be starting the lessons a month earlier, but we were still able to pull it off with the one month with the weekly lessons thanks to Anna!

If you want your first dance to be memorable, without hesitation I highly recommend you check out Bella Ballroom!

Ziva helped my wife and I learn a wonderful first dance for our wedding! It was romantic and sweet, and everything we hoped it would be. She made it easy and enjoyable to learn, and she was fun to work with. As for the studio, everyone was very friendly, and accommodating. They even brought out a practice skirt so my wife could get a feel for what it would be like to dance in her wedding dress. We would definitely recommend Bella Ballroom to anyone nervous about their first dance.

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our first dance mashup and we certainly couldn’t have done it without Tayler. She was SO patient with us, since we came knowing nothing about dancing and even worse, with two left feet. Even with our crazy schedules, she was enthusiastic about our dance, which gave us the energy to pull through even on late nights. The classes were actually fun! Within 15 classes, she was able to teach us not only one, but two dances. Our guests were blown away (particularly when it came to the flip). I am rarely impressed enough by anything to write a review, but Tayler really exceeded our every expectation. We are even thinking about taking some other dance lessons in the near future! If you need to take a dance lesson for whatever reason, Tayler is a dream to work with.

Ziva is an amazing instructor!! My husband and I took classes with her so we would know what we were doing (or at least appear to) for our first dance at our wedding. She listened to our needs, gave constructive feedback, and was patient with us! The dance turned out great, we were thankful for her guidance! I highly recommend her for ballroom and salsa, although I’m sure she is amazing at it all!

My wife signed me up for dance classes ahead of our wedding and I was skeptical to say the least as I was not a dancer at all. Tayler made me feel comfortable and confident and now I really enjoy it! Not to mention she was always a great partner since my wife was finishing school out of state!

Christian – Costa Mesa, CA

We had 5 great dance lessons from Joel.  He didn’t make us feel incompetent since we aren’t the best dancers.  He made it fun and enjoyable.  We hope we can remember our steps for our wedding 🙂
