Calling the creative couple of Orange County! If you’ve always done things a little different than the crowd then we’re a lot alike. I’ve always imagined my wedding day as being surrounded by what I love most – family, friends, and art! Orange County is a great place for weddings in that it offers many venues you cannot find elsewhere. A unique option that people don’t often consider for wedding venues is theaters, museums, and art galleries.
Segerstrom Center for the Arts – The Creative Couple of OC
If you are the thespian couple you may want to consider Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The center states the architecture was “constructed to reflect the creative purpose of the building” producing a beautifully theatrical venue for any event. Unfortunately, you cannot hold your ceremony on the theater stage (which would be awesome) however you can rent out the Founders Hall and Arts Plaza for your big day. This also gives access to open air terrace to enjoy the beautiful Southern California weather. Just imagine the beautiful first dance we can create for you in this magnificent space!

Laguna Art Museum – The Creative Couple of OC
I first imagined the idea without knowing it actually happens, but after some research I’ve come to realize it’s quite the hidden gem of wedding venues! Museums offer a wide array of styles to suite your fancy. One of my personal favorites is the Laguna Art Museum with the perfect blend of sophistication and modern artwork. The California Gallery is just as breathtaking with the outdoor gazebo overlooking Laguna Beach. This wedding venue averages 100 guests for a comfortable and intimate ceremony, but can accommodate up to 200, depending upon the room you select. The Inn at Laguna Beach is conveniently located next door for a nearby bridal party suite or out-of-town guests. Couples cannot go wrong with this beautiful waterfront gallery.

Gray Matter Museum of Art – The Creative Couple of OC
Gray Matter Museum of Art is another fabulous wedding venue for the creative couple of Orange County. The all white design is adorned with concrete floors, exposed pipes, and floor-to-ceiling windows giving a very contemporary atmosphere. A fabulous option for your big day is to hold the ceremony on the rooftop deck, giving quite the scenic backdrop, then head indoors for a chic reception surrounded by works of art. GMMA even offers decor packages to suit your own personal style. With an outdoor ceremony the max capacity sits right at 150. The venue has a midnight restriction on rentals so I say hire a horse and carriage to ride away at the end of the night like Cinderella. The only difference will be that you’re riding away with your Prince Charming!
