My husband and I learned the foxtrot for our first dance at Bella Ballroom from Tayler. Tayler taught and choreographed a beautiful 2 minute dance for us that was a huge hit with our wedding guests. Tayler was an excellent teacher who was encouraging, energetic, professional, and patient during every lesson. I appreciate that she was never hesitant to critique our moves/posture so that our dance looked clean and professional for our wedding. It took about 5 lessons and lots of practice at home for my husband and I to perfect our dance. Not only was it exciting to surprise our wedding guests with our romantic, choreographed dance, but it was also a fun, bonding experience for me and my then fiancé to learn and practice the dance together. Attending the dance class was also a nice respite from the hectic wedding planning process. We absolutely love watching our wedding dance in videos. A bonus – the dance moves we learned at Bella have carried over to our everyday lives…my husband and I find ourselves using the moves at other wedding, and randomly ballroom dancing at home or when we’re out and about 🙂

We took some lessons with our instructor, Tayler, and had a wonderful experience.  Tayler made our moves easy to learn, yet look very elegant and graceful on the dance floor.  We got a lot of compliments on our dance- which was the last thing we thought we would get complimented since #1 My husband and I have two left feet, and #2  We didn’t allow a lot time to learn and practice our routine amid our busy schedule.  Our guests really enjoyed our dance and were under the impression that we took a lot of time to practice.  I have to give that credit to the wonderful job that Tayler did with us!

I love Jennelle! Such an easy person to talk to and a great instructor. She listened to what we wanted and created a dance that my fiancé and I love!  (Crossing out fingers that we don’t mess up on the day off!) When we wanted to add something new or take something out, she was more than open to any changes. She also let us know what looked better too so that we don’t look like monkeys on the dance floor.

I wanted to take dance lessons with my Dad for my wedding so we didn’t just do the standard, awkward slow dance 🙂 I wanted it to be a fun and entertaining surprise for our family and guests and considering my Dad and I are both inexperienced dancers, Jill had a bit of work to do! We had 5 lessons with Jill and after each one, we became more and more confident. I really loved each session! Not only did we learn some great moves, it also allowed my Dad and I to take time out of the crazy wedding process and just enjoy some one-on-one time together. Jill taught us some key moves and helped us choreograph a simple dance to an upbeat classic Frank Sinatra song. Jill was patient, experienced, and very warm and friendly. On the day of the wedding, the DJ played the wrong song! I couldn’t believe it! Of all the songs to mix up, it had to be the one we had a routine to and the one we’d been practicing to! He still played a Frank Sinatra song, thankfully, and we totally pulled it off – thanks to Jill’s help and instilling confidence in the moves. My Dad did a GREAT job and the dance went perfectly! Nobody else even noticed we had a mini-panic moment before we got on out on the dance floor! Thanks Bella Ballroom & Jill!

We used Jennelle at Bella Ballroom Dance Studios for first dance lessons. She was fantastic and easy to work with. We immediately had confidence in our dancing skills after the first dance lesson and really did look like pros by the end. She came up with a great sequence of dance steps for the first dance and helped us choreograph some fun moves to I’m Sexy and I know it as a surprise dance after the first dance. We received a huge applause at our wedding and really felt like we wowed everybody.

Hi Joel. Our dance went over well.  We certainly had fun doing it.  Haven’t seen the video yet to see if we were horrible or not, but the crowd seemed to like it.  lol Thank you so much for the lessons.  We hope to be back for some more.  We really enjoyed working with you.

Hi Jennelle, Here we are, well over a year after we got married.  I was just putting together some pictures for Katerina’s parents, and including a video of our dance.  I asked Katerina, “Did we ever send the video to Janelle?”  Oops. So, I’m doing that right now!  We wanted to thank you again!  We somehow managed to pull it all together with no major flubs. Thank you again!
