My fiancé surprised me with dance lessons a couple months before our wedding. I was a little nervous going in since neither one of us had ever taken dance lessons but my nervousness quickly disappeared. Jennelle is a great instructor. She started us off slow and worked at our pace. She teaches you the dance steps and lets you put them together into a dance. There was no counting steps or memorizing a particular dance. I felt completely comfortable on our wedding day and our first dance was a total success (thank you Jennelle)! I would recommend dance lessons to all couples. With all the planning that goes on right before the wedding, dance lessons are a perfect time for you and your fiancé to spend time together, when you don’t have to think about planning, it’s just you and him dancing. Jennelle was great and I’m recommending her to all my friends who get engaged!

Taking dance lessons at Bella Ballroom was one of the best things my husband and I did leading up to our wedding. We were so nervous because neither of us (nor our parents) knew how to dance well, but Jennelle helped us feel comfortable and confident in what we’d learned. She is a great instructor and truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend this dance studio!
My fiancé and I have been in lessons for two weeks now, and we just love it! Tayler has been an amazing instructor so far, and we’ve gone from knowing pretty much nothing about dancing to making serious headway into two fun and pretty impressive choreographed dances, one swing and one waltz. Tayler always has great energy and enthusiasm, and has really helped us tremendously both in learning the moves and administering impartial judgment as to where we can each improve, which is so crucial when hubby-to-be keeps forgetting the moves we’ve already learned or I keep stepping on his toes (accidentally!) because I’m not following well. We’ve been joking about how dance lessons are a lot like couple’s therapy, and it’s true! My fiancé is learning to take initiative and we are both learning to be more considerate of each other (I’m not just learning how to follow). Plus, when we’re both really in sync, our teamwork allows us to pull off moves flawlessly, and getting it right is an incredibly rewarding feeling! But don’t just take my word for it, try it out yourself! The consultation and first mini-lesson are only $20 and all of the instructors are fun and talented, so you really can’t go wrong. We wanted to learn two fully choreographed dances, so we booked 15 lessons, but most couples would probably be fine with 5 or 10. Plus you can bring in a different partner (parents, bridesmaid, groomsman, whoever!) and have your lesson with them for no extra cost. Just a fabulous company 🙂

We started with two left feet (each) and ended up dancing and twirling our way across the dance floor! Jennelle was wonderful! She is creative, energetic, supportive, and above all – PATIENT. She really listened to what we were looking for and delivered with brilliance! My only regret is that we can’t give more stars!!
If there were more stars available, Jennelle would get more. She is such an amazing teacher. My fiancé and I had zero dance experience and walked into the studio not knowing what to expect. Jennelle took us in with open arms and taught us so much. With 4 more lessons left, we are more confident than ever. Not only was this a great way to impress our guests, it has been another fun way to bond with my fiancé. The weekly lessons, and nightly practices have been such a blast so far. We have so much fun during every lesson. Jennelle really caters to what you envision and I am so grateful for that. I recommend Bella Ballroom to any bride who wants to have a great time, and WOW their guests.
