Hotel Laguna

The Hotel Laguna is a historic property, originally built in 1888 and remodeled in 1930. Hotel Laguna provides a timeless venue whether you want a romantic beach wedding ceremony on their private property or a flowery affair in their Rose Garden. Their outdoor locations allow for events with 130-150 invitees. In addition to these outdoor sites, the hotel has indoor spaces to suit events with between 10 and 100 guests. The Laguna Room, Claes Dining Room, the Catalina Room, and Claes Wine Cellar are all unique, private spaces that can help bring their renter’s vision to life. To accommodate guests, the hotel has 65 rooms, some with views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean right outside. 

SO HAPPY WITH OUR WEDDING VENUE I am so happy that we chose Hotel Laguna for our wedding venue. Everything about the experience from my initial reaching out to the follow up after the wedding was top notch. Nicole and Jessica are absolutely amazing and I know that that they cared what my vision was for the wedding. I didn’t feel like I was just a client to them, which made the entire process that much more enjoyable. Everyone on property was accommodating and delightful. My guests had nothing but great things to say, especially about the food, which the hotel worked with us on to be exactly what we wanted (taco buffet). The venue is beautiful (barefoot on the beach and reception overlooking the water) and their team decorated the room in respect to my vision perfectly. We just had our wedding at Hotel Laguna and it was wonderful! Jessica Wellnitz coordinated it with us and she was truly a pleasure to work with — organized, responsive and full of great ideas. She made planning easy and went above and beyond to ensure the day was perfect. We did our ceremony on the sand and our guests all loved it. The hotel was very accommodating and all the staff were great. The food was delicious also! Everything went off without a hitch and we were able to enjoy our own wedding to the max. It was perfect!
