Surf and Sand Resort

The Surf and Sand Resort of Laguna Beach is a luxurious location for a wedding celebration with natural and beautiful surroundings. With three ceremony locations to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect space for your event. Their Catalina Terrace has a wide-open ocean view and accommodates seating for 180 guests while the Ocean Terrace brings your ceremony a bit closer to the water. This space can seat 80 guests and is separated from the sea by glass panels so the ocean view remains uninterrupted. Lastly, you can take your ceremony straight to the beach on the resort’s private property accompanied by up to 50 standing guests. For reception venues, this hotel offers their Pelican Ballroom, Patio, and Foyer for a combination of indoor and outdoor space for 180 guests. Next, the Sand Dollar Terrace and Ballroom offer an indoor reception area geared toward smaller parties of 80 or fewer. The Sand Castle Patio and Ballroom is a combination of indoor and outdoor space that provides the beauty of their garden with natural light and sparkle. This space can accommodate 60 guests. 

When you book your ceremony at the Surf and Sand Resort, you enjoy the perks of a complimentary reception room rental, linen and banquet provisions, wood dance floor, and a complimentary room for the wedding couple on their wedding night. As far as food goes, your guests will love the hotel catering. Their menu is customizable to your tastes and wedding vision. Rehearsal dinners and wedding brunches at the hotel are also available, as well as use of the seaside spa for your and your wedding group.

We had our wedding at Surf & Sand this past December and the day could not have been more perfect. Not only is this a breathtakingly beautiful venue, but the staff was absolutely amazing. We worked with Chiara and she was there with us every step of the way. I always felt like she had everything on track and was never worried about them dropping the ball.
